Read an extract from my “deliciously taut and sparky” new novel, Face Value. It’s my first. I’m hoping it won’t be my last. (This may well be Rough Trade’s first and last foray into the world of fiction, for all I know so take a look before they realise the error of their ways and ask me to remove it.)
